KPOK! is a poprock indie project that began as a silly idea over internet chat in March 2015. We were superbuds who played
together in our highschool mathrock/posthardcore/twinkly band Televive. We had no material at the time when that conversation went down but we both decided to start writing and digging up old musical ideas from previous projects.
Within 1 hour, we came up with a game plan: 6 sessions with our friend/studio wizard/magical sorcerer Damon Moon at The Cottage and hopefully we would have 3-4 songs by the end of the adventure.
After having quickly booked the sessions and organized our schedules, I bought my tickets to Atlanta literally 45 minutes later.
We created 3 demos and took bits and pieces from other songs prior to arrival. We cowrote everything together and tied it up all nicely with the help of mexican food, a sassy in-house cat, beer, and more alcohol.

Another big thanks goes to T.W. Walsh for mastering the EP.
Thanks to William Osiecki (also ex-Televive/drummer/best bud/Names/Bas Relief) for the very smooth jazz album artwork and to Stack Your Roster for releasing the weird tunage. stackyourroster.com
